Torvec's Registration Declared EffectiveROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 23 Torvec, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: TOVC) announced that its Registration Statement on Form SB-2 for 5,354,000 common shares was declared effective today by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Five million of the common shares were registered in relation to Torvec's $50 million equity funding agreement. The Form SB-2 was initially filed with the SEC on Thursday, October 19, 2000. The effectiveness of this Registration Statement ends the Company's so-called "quiet period" related to this filing.
