Winnebago Industries Receives Annual Report Award
FOREST CITY, Iowa--Oct. 19, 2000--Winnebago Industries, Inc. has received an award from the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) for the Company's 1999 annual report. Winnebago Industries' annual report was chosen as the "Best in the Industry" in the Manufactured Housing/Recreation Vehicle division in the 2000 Nicholson Awards competition sponsored by NAIC. The Nicholson Awards judges rate the annual reports using four criteria: financial highlights of the past two years, financial summary, written content and design. Award winners were grouped in 88 divisions with 151 companies receiving awards. Winnebago Industries was the sole recipient in its division."We're very pleased with this award, particularly since it is coming from a shareholder-based organization," said Sheila Davis, Winnebago Industries' Public Relations/Investor Relations Manager. "When creating the annual report each year, we make a conscientious effort to make it easy to read and understand, as well as attractive in design. We want to provide investors and potential investors with a broad spectrum of information on Winnebago Industries so they can intelligently evaluate their investment opportunities."
