ArvinMeritor Receives Corporate Good Scout Award From Boy Scouts of America's Clinton Valley Council
    TROY, Mich., Oct. 17 ArvinMeritor, Inc. today
received the Corporate Good Scout Award from Boy Scouts of America's Clinton
Valley Council during the group's annual "Rally for the Scouts" in Sterling
Heights, Mich.
    The Corporate Good Scout Award is given to companies in recognition of
outstanding commitment of funding and volunteered hours to the Boy Scouts
organization and other charitable causes in the community.
    "Rally for the Scouts" is a fundraiser to help support Boy Scout programs,
some of longest standing programs for young people in Oakland and Macomb
Counties.  It is through the support of corporations and individuals at this
event that the Clinton Valley Council is able to maintain its programs and
activities throughout the year including Cub and Boy Scouts, "Learning for
Life" and various mentoring initiatives for young people.
