Auxer's Telecom Group Estimates Revenues of $590,000 for Week Ending October 14, 2000

	   WEST PATERSON, NJ--Oct. 17, 2000--The Auxer
Group, Inc. (OTCBB: AXGI) announced today that its estimated revenues
for Clifton Telecard and the Telecom Group were over $590,000 for the
week ending October 14, 2000. The estimated $590,000 in revenue is
based on orders shipped for the period of October 8 through October
14, 2000.
	   "Sales were up over $70,000 compared to the previous week. Last
weeks sales puts the Telecom Group's revenues during the first two
weeks of October alone at approximately $1.1 Million," said Ronald
Shaver, Executive Vice President of Auxer.
