British International Motor Show -- a Disappointment? just-auto.com ReportsLONDON, Oct. 17 The British International Motor Show (BIMS) may be a let down this year after BMW chose the Paris Motor Show for the launch of the new Mini and Rover decided not to attend. In the report at http://www.just-auto.com/news_detail.asp?art=15839 , David Leggett, Managing Editor of just-auto.com, the leading automotive knowledge provider, gives his views on why the BIMS may be a flop. With 700,000 visitors expected over the nine day Birmingham show, the BIMS has no highlight following the launch of the Mini last month. Leggett comments on the two big disappointments. He says, "Mini enthusiasts and other visitors will be disappointed that the new model was not re-launched in the country where it originated and with Rover also being a 'no-show', the BIMS may lack the sparkle that visitors expect."
