AL&Z Advertising Selected by Club Car for Consumer Marketing
    PALM DESERT, Calif., Oct. 16 Club Car Inc., the leading
manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, has selected AL&Z Advertising
to develop and implement its initial consumer-marketing campaign.
    Club Car, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand, recently entered
the retail golf-car market with its acquisition of Dash Golf Cars, an Indio,
Calif.-based manufacturer and assembler of deluxe golf cars with three retail
outlets in the Palm Springs area.
    "To establish a retail presence in this strong regional market, we needed
a strategic marketing and advertising partner with consumer brand experience
and target market expertise," said Bryan Mudrak, consumer marketing manager of
Club Car Inc. in Augusta, Ga.  "AL&Z will advise Club Car with recommendations
and creative direction for all future advertising, public relations and
store-support material to compete in the retail golf-car market.  We are proud
to be associated with such a dynamic and creative group, which will bring a
fresh and energized approach to marketing custom golf cars to consumers."
    AL&Z is developing and executing an integrated marketing campaign,
including print, TV and radio advertising and special event marketing, to
build awareness for Club Car as the world's premier golf-car brand, and to
drive traffic to the Club Car showrooms.  The campaign will focus on
California's Coachella Valley, the largest private golf-car market in North
America.  AL&Z also is developing product sales collateral, and providing
in-store design and public-relations services for Club Car.

strong creative, strategic positioning experience and full-price agency

blueprint that Club Car can roll out in other regional target markets, and a
