Vince Rydzewski Named Vice President, E-Business for Johnson ControlsMILWAUKEE, Oct. 16 Johnson Controls, Inc. has named Vince Rydzewski as vice president of e-business for its Controls business. In this newly created position, Rydzewski is responsible for launching strategic e-business initiatives that will improve the company's ability to serve customers, increase revenue opportunities, broaden the business base and improve productivity. "With his extensive knowledge of Johnson Controls customers and solutions, Vince is a natural to help us break new ground with e-business," said Brian Stark, president of the Controls business at Johnson Controls. Rydzewski was most recently area general sales manager for the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia region where he oversaw significant programs with leading Johnson Controls customers. Rydzewski, who joined Johnson Controls in 1984, is a graduate of Virginia Tech. He is based at Controls headquarters in Milwaukee. "Johnson Controls is developing applications that will significantly increase productivity and extend our market reach through the use of online service solutions and Internet-based procurement," said Rydzewski. "We look forward to introducing many more initiatives in the months ahead." Johnson Controls, Inc., is a global market leader in automotive systems and facility management and control. In the automotive market, it is a major supplier of seating and interior systems and batteries. For nonresidential facilities, Johnson Controls provides building control systems and services, energy management and integrated facility management.
