Qvale Automotive Group to Close Detroit FacilityTROY, Mich., Oct. 13 The Qvale Automotive Group announced today that it will be closing its Detroit area public relations and marketing office currently located in Troy, Michigan. "Due to our change in strategy in bringing on a dealer body, it has been decided that all dealer relation activities will be headquartered in San Francisco," said Bruce Qvale, President and CEO of the Qvale Automotive Group. "This has always been the case throughout the 50+ years we've been in business, and therefore we will be consolidating all of our activities, including public relations and marketing, through our San Francisco facility. "As we went from pre-production, to start-up and launch of the Mangusta, it was our strategy to have a business presence -- both public relations and marketing -- in the heart of the U.S. automotive industry," continued Qvale. "Now we will consolidate operations and coordinate operations through our U.S. headquarters in San Francisco and our Italian operations in Modena. "I'd like to thank Todd Platt, Vice President of Marketing, and Cynthia Claes, North American Public Relations, for their valuable assistance in taking the Mangusta project from a blank slate to present," said Qvale. "Everyone at the Qvale Automotive Group, and at our Huffaker/Qvale Motorsports division, appreciates their dedication and effort through these crucial initial years."
