New Pricing on 2001 Qvale Mangusta for North American Markets
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 13 Today the Qvale Automotive Group
announced it will offer its 2001 Qvale Mangusta with a selling price of
$69,500.00 (U.S.) for the North American market to unify pricing worldwide.
"Because the Mangusta is built in Modena, Italy, and, aside from its Ford
powertrain, is almost 80% European content, we have been able to take
advantage of the recent downturn in the Euro and pass on a large part of this
difference to the consumer," said Bruce Qvale, President and CEO of the Qvale
Automotive Group.
The Qvale Mangusta, with its unique three-in-one Rototop(TM) convertible
feature, is assembled at Qvale Modena factory in Modena, Italy and was styled
by famed designer Marcello Gandini, who also designed the Lamborghini Countach
and Diablo. Powered by a 32-valve, 320-hp, 4.6-liter V8, the Mangusta
delivers performance, innovation, and exclusivity in a package that evokes the
best of Italian craftsmanship and design.
The 2001 Qvale Mangusta will be available for sale starting at $69,500.00
in the U.S., beginning November 1, 2000, through the Qvale Automotive Group
factory stores in San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale, or its independent
dealers.
