Delphi Appoints Two New Product Communications MembersTROY, Mich., Oct. 11 Delphi Automotive Systems announced today that Cheryl Casey and Sara Brogan have been appointed to product communications manager and senior staff assistant, respectively. Both positions are part of Delphi's corporate affairs department and will report to Steve Gaut, corporate director of external communications. Casey and Brogan are responsible for planning and implementing publicity programs for Delphi products and capabilities. Casey will coordinate product publicity for Delphi's Safety, Thermal and Electrical Architecture Sector, and Brogan will spearhead the Dynamics and Propulsion Sector. Both women will work closely with Delphi's divisions comprising their sectors to identify media opportunities surrounding Delphi's products. Casey brings to Delphi more than 15 years experience in the automotive industry. She joins Delphi from Visteon Corp., where she was manager of marketing-communications and events. Prior to that, she worked at Ford Motor Co. and held positions in engineering, planning and marketing. Casey earned her bachelor's degree in engineering at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., and received a master's degree in management from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. Brogan joins Delphi from Eviciti Corp., an e-business-consulting firm, where she was public relations manager for the company's Detroit office. Prior to that, she worked in the communications department at Siemens Automotive and at Eisbrenner Public Relations. A native of Birmingham, Mich., Brogan received her bachelor's degree in communications at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.
