Ocentrix Names New CEOFormer GE Exec Brings Wide Vision; Strategic Alliances SEATTLE, Oct. 11 Ocentrix, Inc. today announced the appointment of John Miksa, former GE executive and business development specialist, as its new President and CEO. Miksa has a strong background in strategic alliance building and extensive experience in e-business initiatives and market share growth. He brings a wealth of experience to Ocentrix, an Information Services company providing integrated, web-centric solutions to the vehicle dealership industry. Miksa, 46, has 24 years of international business development from high-tech startups to multi-national corporations. His background includes e-commerce, e-business, and applications integration for GE, AMR Corporation, and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). At GE, Miksa was a leader in the Information Services Division and held key management positions in System Development & Consulting, Hospitality and Computer Industry verticals, and the Channel Development organization. While at CSC Consulting, Miksa was a business development leader in three practices, including both the Baan and the Application Outsourcing national practices. He is a graduate of both GE's Manufacturing Management Program and their world-class Management Development Program at the prestigious GE Leadership Institute in Crontonville, NY. During his career at GE he managed a highly successful, international account and customer service team that supported over 62,000 users in 55 countries. Before joining Ocentrix, he was Vice President of Channel Sales and Strategic Alliances for Rackspace Managed Hosting, an Internet infrastructure start-up. He has a BS, Computer Science, cum laude, from the University of West Florida and completed post-graduate work toward his MBA at Pepperdine University.
