    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 10 Bob Egan, vice president,
Aftermarket Sales, The Americas, Federal-Mogul Corporation ,
announces the appointment of Michael Holland to general manager, Federal-Mogul
Canada Ltd., effective immediately.  Holland will report to Egan.

    Along with furthering the development and implementation of Federal-
Mogul's Canadian business plan, Holland will continue to be responsible for
the Canadian automotive aftermarket sales activities.
    "Our Canadian business is an extremely important element of Federal-
Mogul's North American sales," said Egan.  "Mike will provide the focus
necessary to ensure our customer's requirements and expectations are
realized."
    Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Holland held various sales-related and
managerial positions at Cooper/Moog since 1977.
    "Mike has served and supported our distribution partners with Federal-
Mogul product lines for the past 23 years," said Egan.
    Holland has over 27 years of experience in the Canadian automotive
aftermarket.
