Kenworth Adds New T300 Options For Fire and Emergency Vehicle Market

KIRKLAND, Wash., Oct. 4, 2000 - Kenworth Truck Co. now offers two new
options on its T300 model for the fire and emergency vehicle market.

Kenworth T300 fire and emergency vehicles can now be ordered with the
Leece-Neville 270-amp alternator with cab cutoff switch. This option,
created just for fire truck rescue vehicle service applications, also
requires a dash-mounted warning light indicating cab power status. This
alternator is currently being offered with ISC Cummins engine.

In addition, the MGM TR 3036 spring brake is available. Fire Service
application vehicles are required to have this special spring brake to meet
hill hold requirements. This tamper resistant chamber is sealed to prevent
spring escape accidents and offers the reliability and performance
traditionally found in all Kenworth vehicles.

See your Kenworth dealer for more details.

Kenworth Truck Company, a division of PACCAR Inc, is a leading manufacturer
