Daw Technologies, Inc. Announces Acquisition Of Vehicle Suspension TechnologySALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 5 Daw Technologies, Inc. announced today it has signed a Letter of Intent with AirStride LLC and Prestige Holdings to acquire the rights to develop, market, sell, manufacture and distribute AirStride's patented vehicle suspension technology. Applications to date for this suspension technology include the billion-dollar travel, utility and recreational trailer markets. Upon completion of preliminary due diligence in approximately 30 days, the matter will be put before Daw's Board of Directors for final approval. Vehicles or trailers to which this technology is applied will have air-ride quality suspension and will have the unique ability to move up and down allowing the vehicle to sit on the ground when loading, unloading or in use once the trailer is in place. In addition, the unique air-ride suspension will provide for a smoother ride and ease of towing, eliminating many of the dangers experienced while towing traditional trailers. "What makes this acquisition attractive is the uniqueness of the technology as well as how closely it fits Daw Technologies' current manufacturing infrastructure. This vehicle suspension technology has wide application in some rapidly growing markets. The products designed that integrate this technology could revolutionize these markets. We are in a position to essentially begin building this product today with our current manufacturing capability," stated Ronald W. Daw, President and Chief Executive Officer. Michael J. Shea, newly appointed Executive Vice President in charge of strategic planning and business development commented, "We are looking closely at this technology and its potential applications. We are also looking closely at the related markets. This opportunity has extremely good strategic implications if our due diligence process goes well. The fit with our current manufacturing applications makes this very attractive to us. The end products will utilize our current metal fabrication technology as well as our paint and assembly. Most notably, it will also use our composite panel technology. If all goes well, we could be marketing, selling and fabricating products before the end of this year."
