Auxer Telecom System Testing Successful

    WEST PATERSON, N.J.--Oct. 5, 2000--The Auxer Group, Inc. (OTCBB: AXGI) announced today that its subsidiary, Auxer Telecom has completed all primary systems testing to include switch systems, security systems, back-up systems, customer services systems, servers, and circuit connectivity between sites. The company's software and technical engineers have reported all systems are working properly. The engineers expect the switches and supporting systems will be ready to receive, send, track and bill telecommunications traffic this month, as scheduled.
