Brown & Sharpe Opens West Coast Precision Center

    NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.--Oct. 5, 2000--Brown & Sharpe has opened a West Coast Precision Center to provide sales, service and consultation to measuring systems customers.
    The new Precision Center, located at 13907 Artesia Blvd., Cerritos, California, will be the headquarters for the company's West Coast operations. The new center will provide a full range of services including product demonstrations, training, software and hardware upgrades, and contract inspection.     With the addition of the West Coast Precision Center, Brown & Sharpe operates 18 centers located in 11 countries on three continents.
