        E-commerce Solution Goes Live with Aftermarket Online Orders,

           Distributors Prefer CarParts Customer-Friendly Agreement

    El SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 5 Fresh from endorsements from
National Pronto and members of Parts Plus, CarParts.com announced today that
the company's e-commerce solution for warehouse distributors (WDs), jobbers
and installers has been endorsed by members of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance
and Federated Auto Parts program distribution groups.
    In addition, CarParts announced that PartsXchange(TM) is now fully
implemented with several WDs and installers nationwide, allowing instant
online ordering of parts between WDs, jobbers and their installer customers.
    PartsXchange is the leading e-commerce solution for warehouse distributors
and installers, allowing fast and easy ordering of automotive parts online.
Through flexible, monthly agreements, WDs are provided a server and a secure,
customized Web site at no charge that gives the WDs' customers instant,
