Credit Acceptance Corporation Announces Organizational Changes

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--Oct. 4, 2000--Brett Roberts has been appointed to the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations at Credit Acceptance Corporation .
    Brett and Mike Knoblauch were previously Co-Presidents of CAC North America Division. Mike Knoblauch will become President of CAC North America Division.
    Don Foss stated, "under Brett and Mike's outstanding leadership, CAC North America operations have improved significantly over the past year. Going forward Brett and Mike's new roles will utilize management talent in ways that we believe will create maximum shareholder value."
    Credit Acceptance Corporation is a specialized financial services company which provides funding, receivables management, collection, sales training and related products and services to automobile dealers selling vehicles to consumers with limited access to traditional sources of consumer credit.
