Donnelly Electronics Names Morgan Director of Materials and PurchasingHOLLY, Mich., Oct. 4 Greg Morgan has joined Donnelly Electronics as director of materials and purchasing, the company announced today. Morgan comes to Donnelly Electronics with 25 years of materials and purchasing experience. In this newly created position, Morgan will be responsible for supplier selection, materials procurement, inventory control and supplier quality assurance. He will report to David Taylor, Donnelly Electronics president. "Since starting this company in 1996, we have grown at a breakneck pace," Taylor said. "We are no longer a startup: We are a thriving company competing in one of the most energized markets today. And for us to continue our aggressive growth, we need to ratchet up our intensity in several key business areas -- including purchasing. Greg's experience in purchasing and the electronics market will ensure we get the right materials at the right price to continue meeting the needs of our customers." Before joining Donnelly Electronics, Morgan was director of purchasing and supplier quality assurance at Valeo Electronics. Prior to Valeo, he spent three years as a Purchasing Manager for ITT Automotive, and over 19 years in various Purchasing and Materials Management positions with General Motors.
