Delphi to Broadcast Third Quarter 2000 Financial Results Meeting Via Webcast, Oct. 11
          Chief Financial Officer to Host Broadly Available Meeting

    TROY, Mich., Oct. 4 Delphi Automotive Systems
Chief Financial Officer Alan S. Dawes will host a briefing to discuss Delphi's
third quarter earnings at 10 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000.  Delphi
will provide a broadcast of the quarterly meeting for the general public via a
live audio Webcast.
    Delphi's quarterly results and Dawes' presentation can be accessed through
Delphi's Web site at http://www.delphiauto.com/ir on Oct. 11 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
EDT.  The Webcast will begin in conjunction with the meeting at 10 a.m. EDT.
