Cummins Receives Ford Q1 Award for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction
COLUMBUS, Ind.--Oct. 3, 2000--Cummins Inc. today announced that its Columbus Midrange Engine Plant (CMEP) has received the coveted Ford Q1 award.Cummins received this recognition from Ford Motor Company for achieving excellence in delivery and demonstrating a high-performance quality system with the overall involvement of Cummins employees.
"This is the result of a lot of hard work by everyone in the plant and the Ford account team," said David Womersley, CMEP plant manager, Cummins. "We are pleased that our quality and support are held up as an example for others to aspire to."
To acknowledge the achievement, Cummins received a Q1 plaque and flag for its Columbus, Ind., facility.
