Daewoo Third Quarter 2000 Sales 151% Increase Over 1999

    COMPTON, Calif., Oct. 3 September's near record sales of
7445 units ends Daewoo's third quarter with a year-to-date total of 54,701.
A 151% increase over the same period in 1999.
    With an outstanding line-up of value priced cars Daewoo owners have kept
Daewoo The Fastest Growing Car Company in America.
    D.J. Lee, President and CEO of Daewoo North American Operations stated,
"Our strong third quarter close is a result of our efforts to increase
