Rush Enterprises Named Peterbilt's North American Dealer of the Year

    SAN ANTONIO--Oct. 3, 2000--Rush Enterprises Inc. , which operates the largest network of Peterbilt heavy-duty truck dealerships in North America, John Deere construction equipment dealerships in Texas and Michigan, and two of the largest farm and ranch superstores (D&D) in America, one in Seguin, Texas, and one in Hockley, Texas, today announced that the Company's Fontana, Calif., dealership has received Peterbilt's highest and most prestigious award, "North American Dealer of the Year."
    In announcing the award, W. Marvin Rush, chairman and chief executive officer of Rush Enterprises Inc., stated, "On behalf of our entire organization I would like to congratulate Bob McCoy, vice president of California operations, Jamie Lowe, general manager of Rush Truck Center Fontana, and each and every employee in Fontana for this great effort and contribution in making this honor possible."
