Porsche Reports September U.S. Sales; Calendar Year-to-Date Sales Up by 12 Percent

    ATLANTA, Oct. 3 Porsche Cars North America, importer and
distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced sales
and stock figures for the month of September, 2000. Retail sales for the month
totaled 1143 cars, an increase of 41 percent over September 1999. Calendar
year-to-date sales are up by 12 percent over 1999.
