      Special program funded by European Union and supported by leading
International organizations aims to assist TransAtlantic supplier connections

    DETROIT, Sept. 28 Key executives of U.S. medium- and
small-sized automotive suppliers will have the opportunity to meet with their
European counterparts to discuss a host of business opportunities during a
unique 'match-making' program funded by the European Union and several leading
international organizations.
    The EU-USA Interprise Program is sponsored in the U.S. by the HCI Group,
Ltd., GlobalAutoIndustry.com, and the German American Chamber of Commerce.  In
Europe, it is sponsored by the IHK -- German International Chambers of
Commerce, and the individual country automotive industry associations of
Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy and Sweden.  The U.S. Department of
Commerce, International Trade Division in Detroit has also lent its support to
the Program.
    U.S. automotive supplier executives will have the opportunity to meet with
supplier executives from Germany, the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Sweden.
Suppliers will have the opportunity to meet in one-on-one introductory
meetings to discuss a host of business issues, including:

    *  Collaboration on potential JV or other projects
    *  Establishing dialogues
    *  Expand business relationships (potential suppliers and potential
customers)
    *  Explore the OEM global impact in Europe
    *  Actively investigate global market opportunities
    *  Learn about the latest European manufacturing technologies & products
