Tharo Systems, Inc. is Named Official Compliance-Certifying Agent by General Motors
BRUNSWICK, Ohio, Sept. 27 Tharo Systems, Inc., creators of
the world famous EASYLABEL(R) product identification and bar code labeling
software package, has just been selected by General Motors as an official
compliance-certifying agent for the GM1724A Common Global Shipping Label.
Effective March 31, 2000, suppliers to GM plants worldwide were required to
label all parts shipments with appropriate bar code shipping labels from the
GM1724 standard set. Compliant labels must have all the required information,
use specified fonts and include readable bar codes. As of January 1, 2001,
non-compliant GM suppliers may be penalized if their GM1724A shipping labels
do not conform to specifications. To avoid the risks of loosing quality points
or refusal of a shipment, GM strongly suggests that you contact an official
compliance-certifying agent, such as Tharo Systems, Inc. Tharo Systems, Inc.,
headquartered in Brunswick, Ohio, has been a world leader in the Automatic
Identification Industry since 1982. Tharo Systems, Inc. has been authorized by
GM to review your label sample for proper text formatting and bar code
