Fleetwood Announces Election of New DirectorRIVERSIDE, Calif., Sept. 27 Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. , the nation's leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles and a leading producer and retailer of manufactured housing, announced today that Margaret S. Dano was elected as a director of the Company by the shareholders at its recent Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Since 1997, Ms. Dano has been a Vice President of Avery Dennison Corporation based in Pasadena, CA, a major producer of self-adhesive products and office supplies. Since 1999, she has served as Vice President, Supply Chain Worldwide Office Products, with responsibility for the operations of an international business with revenues of approximately $1.8 billion. Ms. Dano holds a BSME from the General Motors Institute, and prior to joining Avery Dennison served in engineering and operations positions with several major companies, including General Motors, General Electric and Black & Decker. Chairman Glenn Kummer said, "We are pleased to have a director of Margaret Dano's caliber on our Board. She has an outstanding background in manufacturing operations and engineering and the ability to contribute significantly to Fleetwood, especially in the areas of manufacturing improvement, customer satisfaction and product quality. Ms. Dano replaces Thomas A. Fuentes, whose term expired on the date of the Annual Meeting.
