GRAND BLANC, Mich., Sept. 27 RecepTec LLC and Ford Motor
Company announced today a multi-year Purchase and Supply
Arrangement, signed on September 1, under which Ford will purchase satellite
antennas from RecepTec to be used with its satellite radio system to be
launched next year.
Ford will soon offer its customers the opportunity to receive satellite
radio programs broadcast by Sirius Satellite Radio. From its three orbiting
satellites, Sirius will directly broadcast up to 100 channels of digital-
quality programming to motorists throughout the continental United States.
Ford Motor Company Purchasing Executive Director, Lisa Klein stated,

satellite reception technology. We are also impressed by their ability to
provide reception solutions in other areas such as cellular and navigation as
well as testing and evaluation support."
RecepTec President, George E. Caston confirmed that the relationship
includes an equity incentive program that will earn the carmaker a minority
interest in RecepTec.
"RecepTec focuses on innovative, integrated solutions, which meet our
customers' increasing demands for multiple reception capabilities in their
vehicles," states Bernd Leinwetter, RecepTec's Chairman. "This new alliance
with Ford fits perfectly into our global strategy as we continue to expand our
relationships with vehicle manufacturers around the world."
