PRIMEDIA's Automotive Satellite Television Network Signs Inaugural Sponsorship Agreement With Chrome Data Corporation
DALLAS--Sept. 27, 2000--Chrome Data Corporation, the automotive industry's most accurate independent business-to-business provider of data and software for selling cars online, is sponsoring PRIMEDIA's Automotive Satellite Television Network (ASTN) to help car dealers better address Internet shoppers' needs.
ASTN is a distance learning pioneer to the auto retail industry reaching nearly 100,000 viewers.
The highly targeted sponsorship package provides a win-win relationship between Chrome and ASTN. Since more than 80 percent of dealers now have Web sites, ASTN developed a monthly "Net Gain: Success on the Internet" show helping dealers work with Internet shoppers. The show's news and interviews feature Internet and dealer experts who provide tips on building profitable Web sites, analyze Web sites and showcase product solutions.
Net Gain will soon feature the Chrome Carbook(TM), a Web-based vehicle research, pricing and ordering tool that enables dealers, Internet portals and financial institutions to specify and sell cars online with very detailed accuracy. Relying on a national database of more than 20,000 new car dealers, its tool facilitates lead generation to facilitate transactions between auto dealerships and portals with Web-surfing consumers. Under the sponsorship agreement, Chrome can use tapes and Webcasts from its spokesperson's appearance for marketing purposes, plus feature its solutions on the ASTN.com Web site. Chrome will be featured in the October 2 show.

Net Gain can be seen live by satellite on the first Monday of each month at 12:30 p.m. EST. It is repeated throughout the month through ASTN satellite programming or through streaming video at www.astn.com.
