According to Jeff Purner, the school's executive director, "Although the finishing touches have yet to be applied, we want to show off our new quarters to our neighbors and to the world's racing community in time for The Petit Le Mans weekend here at Road Atlanta." When completed, the world headquarters for Panoz Racing School will consist of 4,400 square feet of office space and showroom with the remainder dedicated to a technical services area which supports the racing school's stable of cars -- the Panoz GT-RA used by students and women professionals in the Women's Global GT racing circuit. The racing school has shared Road Atlanta's administrative and operations facilities. After the formal opening of the new headquarters later this Fall, Panoz Racing School will continue to operate satellite school and operational facilities at its Sebring (Florida) and Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth/Dallas) venues and other expanded training sites as they are announced. "The new headquarters is a sign of how fast the Panoz Racing School is growing as well as its dedication to the sport of racing," Purner noted. Recent examples he cited are the September 1, 2000 announcement of Panoz' third school at Texas Motor Speedway and the creation of North America's only Motorsports Vehicle Technology Program at Lanier Technical Institute unveiled September 27. Panoz Racing Schools offer racing instruction to all skill levels, from the novice to the seasoned driver looking to improve his or her racing skills and also offer corporate incentive and teambuilding programs.
