Hayes Lemmerz International Obtains Worldwide Exclusive License to Kuhl Wheel Technology

    NORTHVILLE, Mich., Sept. 26 Hayes Lemmerz International,
Inc. and The Epilogics Group announced today that Epilogics has granted Hayes
Lemmerz worldwide exclusive rights to the Kuhl Wheel technology.
    The Kuhl Wheel design integrates the hub and spokes into a one-piece
stamping.  Using standard steel rims, these wheels weigh significantly less
than conventional steel wheels.  Additionally, when in motion, the center
section of the wheel seems to disappear, which allows for greater flexibility
in wheel trim design over conventional steel wheels.  This technology,
combined with Hayes Lemmerz' leading global wheel technologies, will further
provide OEM customers the optimal wheel options for each vehicle.
