Performance Products Hosts 2nd Annual Open House & Vendor Show

    VAN NUYS, Calif., Sept. 26 Performance Products the
premier seller of truck, SUV, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz aftermarket parts and
accessories is holding its 2nd Annual Open House & Vendor Show Saturday,
October 7, from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.  Virtually everything in its
60,000 square foot facility will be on sale, and more than 40 leading parts
and accessory manufacturers will be on hand to display and demonstrate new
products and to answer questions about personalizing vehicles.  Admission and
parking are free.
    Companies such as Bilstein, Edelbrock, Hella, K&N, Rancho, Borla and
Bestop will feature everything from floor mats to suspension kits and engine
accessories.  Many manufacturer project vehicles will be on display along with
a special parking area for personalized customer vehicles.  "Performance
Products has a special relationship with its customers and its suppliers"
states Ron Rowen Performance Products' President and CEO.  "Our annual Open
House & Vendor Show is one of the few opportunities each year that our
customers and the general public can directly interact with our suppliers."
    Last year more than 3,000 customers took advantage of the Open House sale
and took home truckloads of accessories and new ideas for personalizing their
vehicles.  They came from as far away as Bakersfield and San Diego.
    Performance Products specializes in Porsche, Mercedes and Jeep plus
Toyota, Ford and Chevy/GMC truck components and accessories.  With the
acquisition of Automotion earlier this year, Performance Products became the
world's largest Porsche aftermarket parts retailer.  They recently acquired
Precision Auto Designs, a large supplier of Mercedes-Benz parts and
accessories.
