Permatex(R) to be Exclusive Marketer of Slik-Pak(R) Lubricant Products

    HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 26 Permatex announced today that
the company has entered into an exclusive agreement with Keystone Business
Service of Ogden, UT, to manufacture and market Keystone's innovative Slik-
Pak(R) brand of lubricants.  Terms of the agreement were not announced.
    Slik-Pak(R) was invented by Keystone owner and former truck driver Dennis
Spiers to solve an age-old problem in the trucking industry: Drivers are
required to apply grease to the connecting device between the trailer and the
tractor, called the "fifth wheel," every time they switch trailers. This was
often a messy and wasteful process.
    With Slik-Pak(R) the driver simply places two plastic pouches containing
the specially formulated grease on either side of the fifth wheel before
connecting the trailer. The weight of the trailer bursts the bags, and trailer
movement spreads the lubricant.  The product features environmentally friendly
packaging that disintegrates following rupture of the bag.
    Designed by a trucker for truckers, Slik-Pak(R) is the only fifth-wheel
grease with a 30 percent graphite content.  The product has received numerous
awards from the packaging industry, including the Mobil's Golden Mummy award
for flexible packaging and 3M Eco-efficiency Award.
    With its patented package, formulation and application, Slik-Pak (R) is
quick and easy to apply with no mess, no waste and no dripping grease.  The
product is already used by major fleets.
