Delphi Technology on Current and Future Vehicles

    PARIS, Sept. 26 Delphi Automotive Systems is
helping create consumer enthusiasm for newly launched and future vehicles
through its advanced technologies.  The following list provides highlights of
many of the vehicles equipped with Delphi technologies at the Mondial de
l'Automobile 2000 this week in Paris:

    DELPHI TECHNOLOGY ON NEWLY LAUNCHED VEHICLES

    * Alfa Romeo 147 - HVAC system, steering column, steering pump, airbag
control sensors.
    * Audi A4 - immobilizer system, ultrasonic interior protection, door
harness, roof harness, options.
    * Audi A3 Facelift - immobilizer system, ultrasonic interior protection,
door harness, roof harness, options.
    * Audi A8 3,31 V8 TDI - immobilizer system, ultrasonic interior
protection, door harness, roof harness, options.
    * BMW Mini - front strut modules, canister module (North American
version), rear damper assemblies, carbon canisters, CVC compressor, security
sensor.
    * Citroen Xantia (X4) - steering pump, plug top coil, compressor, body
electronics including RF remote control , column interface module and alarm
system.
    * Mercedes C Class - integrated antennas, security system, liquid-cooled
alternator, engine wiring harness, engine air pressure sensors.
    * Opel Corsa - front and rear shock absorbers, drum brake, power brake,
battery, catalytic converter, EMS, steering gear, manual steering column,
halfshafts, bumpers, instrument panels, airbags, audio system, ultrasonic
sensor, compact variable compressor.
    * Peugeot 206 CC - hard top electronics, immobilizer antennas.
    * Renault Laguna (X74) - steering pump, battery, compressor, HVAC Unit,
Accumulator Dehydrator, AM/FM and GSM/GPS Hidden Antennas.
    * Saab 9-5 Aero Combi, Aero Sedan - mass air flow meter, canisters,
catalytic converter, EMS ECU, wire harness.
    * Saab 9-3 Aero Cap, Aero Coupe, Diesel 5 doors - mass air flow meter,
canisters, catalytic converter, EMS ECU, wire harness, steering pumps.
    * Volkswagen Lupo - E_STEER(TM) Electric Power Steering System.
    * Volvo X70 - wire harness, body computers, pressure sensors and
canisters.
    * Volvo V70 - wire harness, body computers, pressure sensors and
canisters.
    * Volvo S80 - wire harness, body computers, pressure sensors and
canisters.

    FUTURE TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHES

    * Communiport(R) Infotainment PC on 2001 Cadillac Seville and DeVille
(North America) - will allow the vehicle's occupants to stay in touch by
bringing a wide range of new information, connectivity and navigation services
into the vehicle.
    * Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) Technology - to be
featured in 2001 on new General Motors vehicles to be announced (North
America).  SDARS will give consumers a much broader range of programming
choices with quality reception.
    * MagneRide(TM) ride control system suspension technology - in 2002 (North
America) - will provide a smoother and more secure ride.
    * QUADRASTEER(TM) four-wheel steering system - on 2002 GM Full-Size Pickup
Trucks - will provide enhanced maneuverability at lower speeds, added
stability at higher speeds and improved trailering capabilities.
    * Common rail diesel being launched on four manufacturers' programs in the
coming year.
    * Non Thermal Plasma emission control is being developed with PSA Peugeot
Citroen.
    * Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) is being developed with BMW and Renault for
a mid-decade launch.
    * New Occupant Detection Sensors are being launched, initially on top of
the range vehicles.
    * A new truck diesel engine ECU will complement the new EUI / EUP
offerings from Delphi Diesel.
    * New Stop-Start Energen system to improve fuel economy and reduce
emissions.
