Rouge Industries Declares Third Quarter Dividend

    DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 21 Rouge Industries, Inc.
announced today that its Board of Directors approved a third
quarter cash dividend in the amount of three cents ($0.03) per share payable
on October 20, 2000 to shareholders of record at the close of business on
October 6, 2000.
