Information Products, Inc. Names Desrochers Vice President of Operations
    HOLLAND, Mich., Sept. 21 Mark L. Desrochers has been named
vice president of operations for Information Products, Inc. (IP), the company
announced today.
    In this newly created position, Desrochers will be responsible for
manufacturing and engineering, and will support the development of long-term
business strategies.  He will report to Jim Landsman, vice president and
general manager of IP.
    "In his previous position as vice president of engineering, Mark proved
his ability to lead and manage the engineering function," said Chad Quist,
president of IP.  "Now Mark can apply those skills in the operations area.
He will focus on strengthening IP's ability to meet rapidly changing customer
demands, successfully launch new products and build our manufacturing
capacity.  Clearly, IP will continue to benefit from Mark's expertise."
    IP, a leading supplier of specialty coated glass for the touch screen
industry, is a wholly owned subsidiary of automotive supplier Donnelly
Corporation .  Desrochers joined Information Products in 1997 as
director of engineering, and was promoted to vice president of engineering in
July, 2000.
    Before joining IP, Desrochers held a number of increasingly responsible
positions at Mobil Oil, working in engineering, management and new business
development.
    A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Desrochers has a bachelor's degree
in chemical engineering from The Colorado School of Mines and a master's
degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
He lives in Holland, Michigan, with his wife and two children.
