Visteon to Host Executive Training Program for Minority Supplier PartnersDEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 21 In an on-going effort to strengthen its partnerships within the minority supply base, Visteon Corporation has established an executive training program for senior management of minority supplier partners that provide products and services to the company. Co-developed with the University of Michigan, Visteon's initial Minority Supplier Educational Assistance Program will be held in Ann Arbor, Mich. from September 25 to 29. The intensive five-day session includes topics such as Growth Strategies, Mergers and Acquisitions, Marketing Strategies, Project and Service Management, Customer Satisfaction Measurement and Management, Organizational Performance Measurement, Cost Management, Sources of Competitive Advantage and e-Commerce. "The benefits of a properly structured program will help strengthen leadership skills and the growth potential of minority businesses.
