Johnson Controls Creates Electronics Integration Team To Accelerate Interior Electronics DevelopmentJim Geschke to take on expanded electronics integration role for the automotive interior supplier PLYMOUTH, Mich., Sept. 21 To further expand the company's focus on its new electronics business and development strategy, leading automotive interior supplier Johnson Controls has developed an Electronics Integration Team. Jim Geschke vice president and general manager, Electronics Integration will lead the team. Geschke is responsible for overseeing the Electronics Integration Team, as well as developing new electronics opportunities for the future and strengthening relationships with electronic suppliers in Europe and North America. In addition to Geschke, the following individuals will be part of the Electronics Integration Team and will be responsible for the following key areas: * Robert Anderson Purchasing * Mary Lee Barker Finance * Mike Benson Director of Engineering * Rich Chutorash Business Development * Jennifer Dutmers Product Marketing * Ken Hopkins Electronics Commercialization * Tom Truesdell Quality/Manufacturing At the core of the company's new electronics business and development strategy is its Peer Partnering(TM) strategy -- a commitment to co-develop advanced electronics for integration into automotive vehicle interiors, supported by a group of strategic relationships. Geschke has been one of the key architects of Johnson Controls' Peer Partnering strategy, leading the company's first set of Peer Partnering relationships in the electronics arena. He continues to develop the Peer Partnering program for Johnson Controls. Geschke joined Johnson Controls as part of the former Prince Corporation of Holland, Michigan in 1992 as chief engineer of electronics. He has more than 24 years of automotive OEM and supplier electronics experience.
