WPI Group Turns to Addison Whitney for New Identity
Premier Branding Firm Chosen to Supply WPI
With a New Identity That Reflects Repositioning

MANCHESTER, N.H., Sept. 21 WPI Group
(OTC Bulletin Board: WPIC), a leading wireless, Internet solutions company,
announced today that it has hired Addison Whitney, a premier branding firm, to
provide a new identity for the company. The new name and logo will not only
reflect its new positioning in the market, but will also set the stage for the
rollout of its telematics solution, e-Technician.
WPI is transitioning itself from an industrial technology and
manufacturing company, to a company focusing on delivering wireless, Internet
solutions to the transportation and logistics industry. This repositioning and
new identity strategy takes full advantage of the company's existing assets.
It also enables solutions to be delivered through an ASP business model, which
will allow for the provision of a recurring revenue model.
By partnering with premier technology companies, and drawing from 20 years
of intellectual property within the transportation industry, WPI leveraged
wireless and Internet technologies to create an extensive technical
infrastructure. These assets uniquely position WPI to provide more
comprehensive and detailed telematics solutions to the commercial vehicle
market.
"We are excited to work with WPI in redeveloping its identity as a leader
in the wireless and Internet industry," said Clayton Tolley, president of
Addison Whitney. "WPI's management team is very focused on the company and how
they want it to be perceived by the industry. Based on our track record and
expertise in this area, we understand what is necessary in order to provide
WPI an identity that exudes the leadership role they are undertaking."
WPI President and CEO John Allard adds, "A company's identity is the first
thing the industry looks at, and we need that identity to properly reflect
what we offer this industry. With the experience that Addison Whitney brings
to the table, we are confident that the new identity will accurately portray
the repositioning of the company."
