Parts.com Appoints Steven O'Sullivan Executive VP of Operations
SANFORD, Fla.--Sept. 21, 2000--Parts.com, Inc. (stock symbol: MIRM), a marketplace and software solutions provider for the automotive parts industry, announced the appointment of Steven O'Sullivan as executive vice president of operations. In his new role, Mr. O'Sullivan will direct parts.com's diverse operations group, including development, art and production, parts advisors, customer service, system operations, sales and marketing, and data center projects."Mr. O'Sullivan's exceptional determination, discipline and leadership skills are invaluable to parts.com's growth, as well as the success of our recently launched TradeMotion Solutions," stated Shawn D. Lucas, president and co-CEO. "He has improved our operational efficiency, while focusing on initiatives with the greatest potential. His aptitude for creative problem-solving and roadblock elimination will be key to parts.com's continued success."

O'Sullivan joined Parts.com in May 2000. In his initial role as project manager, Mr. O'Sullivan offered leadership to the managers of the Parts.com marketing, development, quality assurance, and documentation departments.

The outstanding achievements of Mr. O'Sullivan and his team are reflected in Parts.com's completely redesigned marketplace and corporate and OCTANE Web sites, as well as the successful and timely completion of three consecutive, significant software releases, including our recently unveiled suite of TradeMotion Solutions," concluded Lucas.
Prior to joining Parts.com, O'Sullivan served as the vice president of customer services for KeyTrak, Inc., the worldwide leader in electronic key control devices for the automotive, medical and educational industries. KeyTrak's clients includes AutoNation, AvalonBay Properties, Post Properties, the Federal Reserve Bank, Federal Express and the Empire State Building. In his capacity, he was responsible for all customer support functions of KeyTrak's worldwide operations, including: installations; on-site and telephone support; product development; human resources; supply ordering and fulfillment; and network infrastructure and system administration.
Mr. O'Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle University. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), is A+ certified, and is a member of the Orlando NT Professional Assoc.
