New Head of DaimlerChrysler Investor RelationsAUBURN HILLS, Mich. and STUTTGART, Germany, Sept. 20 Elizabeth Wade, 42, is to become the new Senior Vice President Investor Relations of DaimlerChrysler on October 1, 2000. DaimlerChrysler CEO Juergen E. Schrempp announced the appointment today. "I am very pleased that Liz Wade, an experienced and successful international investor relations manager, will be joining our company," said Schrempp. "Ms. Wade is the perfect choice for this crucial and important role within DaimlerChrysler. Together with our investor relations team, she will continue to expand DaimlerChrysler's communications activities with the capital markets." Elizabeth Wade has fifteen years experience in the equity markets; within fund management, investment banking and investor relations. From 1994-1999 she was head of the investor relations department at Barclays in London, where she was responsible for relations with shareholders, brokers, analysts and rating agencies. At Barclays she also had executive management responsibility for all aspects of communications and investor relations. She was most recently a partner at investor relations consultancy, Makinson Cowell, where she had responsibility for the development of their continental European business. Elizabeth Wade will be supported at DaimlerChrysler by a team of highly- qualified professionals. The company has won various national and international investor relations awards over the past few years, most recently the Investor Relations Prize from the business magazine Capital.
