Reynolds and Reynolds Earns Spot On InformationWeek 500

    DAYTON, Ohio--Sept. 20, 2000--

Leading Auto Industry Solutions Provider Named One of the Most Innovative Users of Information Technology

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company was recently recognized for its innovation in business, technology and human capital by being named to the InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the most innovative users of information technology.
Each year, InformationWeek magazine publishes its list of the Top 500 IT leaders, as selected by the magazine's editors. To make the list, a company must demonstrate a pattern of technological, procedural and organizational innovation. Only parent companies with at least $1 billion in annual revenue may participate. This year, Reynolds ranked No. 419.
"The Applications Services group at Reynolds is extremely pleased to be named to InformationWeek's Top 500. This recognition is a powerful testament to our skilled, talented and innovative IT associate base and all the hard work they put in to help make Reynolds a leader in the automotive retailing industry," said Mike Piscitello, chief information officer and vice president, Application Services. "This award recognizes our technology team's determination to apply their significant skills as IT innovators to better serve our customers."
InformationWeek 500 companies were awarded gold, silver and bronze citations for their early adoption and creative use of technologies and business practices. Reynolds received the gold for E-business Strategy, silver citations for Technology Strategy and Business Practices, and a bronze citation for Customer Knowledge.
"These citations further illustrate Reynolds' excellence in IT innovation," added Piscitello. "Our goal is to continue to build on our strengths in order to have a major positive impact on Reynolds' success in the marketplace."
