FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 18 Hyundai's all-new sport
utility vehicle, the Santa Fe, is packed with desirable standard features, and
continues to offer the best-in-class value customers have come to associate
with Hyundai. Prices for the 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe range from a value leading
$16,499 up to a luxurious leather equipped LX V6 Full Time 4WD model at only
$21,999. V6 powered models start as low as $18,299 including a 4 speed
SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission.
"Once again, Hyundai is demonstrating its commitment to offering buyers
stylish, affordable, value-packed vehicles," said Finbarr O'Neill, president
and chief executive officer of Hyundai Motor America. "The new Santa Fe
offers equipment such as 16-inch alloy wheels with BF Goodrich tires, AM/FM/CD
stereo, air conditioning and power windows as standard. In addition, every

Advantage, which includes a 10-year, 100,000-mile drivetrain warranty and a
five-year, unlimited mileage roadside assistance program," O'Neill added.

Lexus RX300.

four-cylinder engine and smooth-shifting 5-speed manual transmission and has a
manufacturer's suggested retail price of $16,499. Standard equipment includes

Goodrich Long Trail T/A tires, power windows, black privacy glass, power
rack-and-pinion steering, roof rack rails, 60/40 split folding and reclining
