CustomerLink Receives Exclusive Endorsement From The Automotive Service Councils of California
ROSEVILLE, Calif.--Sept. 15, 2000--Today, CustomerLink Systems, Inc., a leading Application Service Provider (ASP) of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing services for the automotive services industry, signed an exclusive endorsement agreement with the Automotive Service Councils of CA (ASC-CA).The relationship allows the ASC-CA to bring the CustomerLink programs to its members with a negotiated ASC discount package. ASC service providers who implement the CustomerLink programs will see an increase in repeat customer business and strengthened long-term customer loyalty.
"The association continually tries to leverage our economies of scale and bring premium products and services to our membership at discounted rates," said Brad Walker, Executive Director of the ASC-CA. "CustomerLink's retention and loyalty programs are in alignment with our association's objective of helping shops to improve their professional image and increase their business."
For CustomerLink the endorsement provides the opportunity to quickly get in front of over 2,000 automotive service providers in California through ASC-CA's advertising, direct marketing, and association meetings. "Typically, automotive service providers who belong to the ASC and attend the local meetings and state wide education seminars are the shops who want to grow their business," said Kirk Olson, President and CEO of CustomerLink. "These are the shops who will implement our programs and watch their car count, revenues, and profits increase dramatically."
CustomerLink's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System and proprietary database marketing platform allows service providers to proactively communicate with their customers at programmed intervals with reminders for routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups as well as provides them with an opportunity to send surveys, thank you letters, and information regarding specials and promotions. This communication significantly increases the probability that consumers will return to a specific service provider several times a year for recommended service and maintenance and assists automotive service providers in creating customer loyalty.
Anthony Romano, Executive Vice President of CustomerLink commented, "The relationship with the ASC-CA is an important component in our market penetration strategy and we are confident our offerings will deliver significant benefits for ASC member shops. This truly is a win/win deal."
