The South Florida International Auto Show Brings Back Classic CarsMIAMI, Sept. 15 The 30th anniversary South Florida International Auto Show will provide a look back at some of the most popular vehicles of the past. Presented by the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Memory Lane exhibit will highlight classic cars from virtually every decade of the 20th century beginning with the 1920s. Some of the automobiles being displayed include: 1929 Ford Model A 1934 Plymouth Sedan 1940 Ford Woody Station Wagon 1950 Pontiac Sedan 1957 Ford Thunderbird 1957 Jaguar XK140 1968 Chevy Camaro "SS 396" convertible 1967 Austin Healey BJ8 1974 DeTomaso Pantera 1974 Jaguar E-Type convertible "Our members are proud to be able to participate in this event," said Mel Mann, vice president of the club and chairman of the display. "This year we have brought together an impressive collection of some of the most popular cars of the past." Founded in 1955, the Antique Automobile Club of America's South Florida Region comprises 150 local members and is dedicated to the restoration, preservation and enjoyment of antique vehicles.
