    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 13 Ron Comer, vice president of
Manufacturing Operations, Sealing Systems, Federal-Mogul, announces the
appointment of Andrew Hunzeker to group controller, Sealing Systems, effective
immediately.  Hunzeker will report to Comer.

    "Andrew's overall experience and tremendous financial leadership will be a
major benefit to the team," said Comer.  "I am delighted that he is going to
support our group in this capacity."
    Hunzeker joined Federal-Mogul in 1999 as plant controller at the Athens,
Alabama, facility.  Before joining Federal-Mogul, Hunzeker was the financial
planning and analysis manager at the Levolor Company.
    Hunzeker is a certified public accountant.  He earned a bachelor of
science degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska,
Lincoln, Nebraska.
