SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 13 Thomas B. Conaghan, senior
vice president, Sealing Systems, Visibility, Systems Protection, Federal-
Mogul, announces the appointment of David Jackson as director of quality,
Sealing Systems and Systems Protection, effective immediately. Jackson will
report to Conaghan.

"David's knowledge and experience in quality procedures within the Systems
Protection operations makes him an exceptional fit within our team," said
Conaghan. "We are very fortunate to have David to proactively address quality
issues at our plants."
Prior to his current appointment, Jackson was the of operations manager
for Systems Protection at the Gordonsville, Tennessee facility. Jackson was
the plant manager for Systems Protection in 1997 in El Paso, Texas. He joined
Federal-Mogul in 1992 as a quality assurance manager at the Gordonsville,
Tennessee location.
Jackson earned a bachelor of science degree in operational management from
the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee and a master of business
administration from the Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesburo,
Tennessee.
