DaimlerChrysler Corporation Recognized as One of the 500 Most Innovative Users Of Information Technology by CMP's InformationWeek MagazineAUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 13 DaimlerChrysler Corporation has been named one of the 500 most innovative users of Information Technology by CMP's InformationWeek magazine in its twelfth annual InformationWeek 500 issue published this week. Looked at as the industry's annual report card, the InformationWeek 500 ranking is the only one of its kind based on both the size and complexity of installed information technologies, as well as on the tangible business benefits created by technology. "DaimlerChrysler is honored to share this recognition with some of the most innovative IT companies," said Sue Unger, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. "It's the mission of DaimlerChrysler's IT organization to provide easy and friendly access to technology in order to give our constituents the appropriate information at the right time to make the right decisions.
