Wagner(R) Brand from Federal-Mogul First to Market with Replacement Front Disc Brake Pads for 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 12 Federal-Mogul Corporation has
introduced the first replacement front disc brake pads for the 2001 Ford
Explorer Sport Trac.  The pads, sold under the company's Wagner(R) brake
products brand, combine a platform-specific friction formula with a variety of
exclusive design features engineered to ensure unsurpassed braking power and
durability.
    The new Wagner PowerMax(R) inner and outer front disc brake pads (Part.
No. MX833) feature an asbestos-free semi-metallic friction material formulated
to deliver outstanding high-temperature performance and reduced rotor and drum
wear.
    The PowerMax pads also utilize an integrally molded attachment method for
exceptional strength and durability.  Unlike many competing lines of friction
products, Wagner PowerMax brake pads include shims, chamfers, slots and wear
sensors that match the original equipment design and specifications.  Each
PowerMax pad is coated with blue electrostatic powder coat paint for maximum
corrosion resistance.
    All PowerMax pads are covered by a limited warranty.
