Delphi Automotive Systems Named to the 'Information Week 500'Annual Ranking Recognizes Innovative Use of Information Technology TROY, Mich., Sept. 12 Delphi Automotive Systems has been named to the "Information Week 500," a listing of the most innovative users of information technology (IT). The roster is published annually by Information Week magazine, a premier technology publication, and appears in the magazine's September 11 edition. Delphi is among just 17 companies named to the Information Week 500 from the automotive industry. In recognizing Delphi among the most innovative IT users, Information Week cited Delphi's emphasis on supply-chain optimization, as well as its efforts to create an IT infrastructure that will support global e-business, engineering and production initiatives. The publication also quotes industry experts who endorse Delphi's supply-chain focus as a means for cutting costs and boosting profits. In addition to automotive firms, the Information Week 500 profiles companies from 23 other industries such as health care, financial services and telecommunications.
